广州中国科学院先进技术研究所（简称“广州先进所”）成立于2011年5月，是由广州市人民政府与中国科学院共建的具有独立法人资格、行政上隶属于广州市人民政府的新型科研机构，同时也是中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院的广州分所。我们秉承中科院“顶天立地”的宗旨，一方面为国家研发有关国计民生的新技术，一方面为当地经济的持续发展提供技术支撑。

Guangzhou Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIAT), was jointly established by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Guangzhou government in May 2011. GIAT is an independent legal entity but administratively belongs to the Guangzhou government. It is also a branch of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) in Guangzhou.
GIAT is located in Nansha district which is the core of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.I focus on the following research areas, which include Industrial Robot, Environmental Engineering, Oceanographic Engineering, Biological Engineering, Bio-medicine and Chinese Medicine. At present I have five research centers:Water Science Research Center, Intelligent Robot & Equipment Research Center,Biological Engineering Research Center, Electronic and Computer Technology Research Center and Precision Engineering Research Center.
GIAT sets a goal for supporting Guangzhou, Guangdong Pearl River delta and the emerging industry development in Guangdong province.

要求（Interested areas）
1、生物化学、微生物学、分子生物学、机械、电气、通信、计算机、图像处理、自动控制、化工、环境、材料等方向均可。
Biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, Mechanical engineering， electrical engineering，telecommunication，computer vision，image processing，automatic control，Chemical Engineering，Environmental Engineering，Material Science，etc.
2、世界知名大学毕业博士；
Should have a doctorate degree from a world-renowned university.
3、有3年以上海外科研工作经历（海外博士可突破年限申请）或世界知名大学或世界一流科研机构担任过副教授及以上职务经验；
The candidate should have more than 3 years of overseas scientific research experience（The overseas doctoral candidates may be not limited by this requirement ）, or should work in a world-renowned universities or in world-class scientific research institution as associate professor and above.
4、若为非华裔外国专家，应未全职在华工作，已经在华工作的，时间应在一年以内；
If foreign experts of non-Chinese origin should not have a full-time work in China or already work in China but the time should be less than a year.
5、引进后应全职在国内工作不少于3年，每年不少于9个月时间。
Upon talent introduction, they should be employed for full-time positions in mainland China for no less than 3 years and no less than 9 months per year.
